About Me

Hi! I’m Charlie. I’m the hands behind Gather and Feast.

Be it cooking, creating or eating out, food has always been a huge part of my life.

From early childhood, learning to cook and browsing endless cookbooks, to a decade in the hospitality industry, food has always inspired me and has been an outlet for my creativity. 

My family hosted many relaxed celebrations over the years, be it landmark birthdays or  summer parties. Our search for caterers at the time, that cover anything other than corporate functions or large gatherings of people, was limited.

This was my stepping stone, taking on the catering myself; creating colour, texture and variety. This gradually extended to catering for family friends, friends of friends … and so it goes. Catering for these smaller events, in a relaxed and informal setting, was a real buzz for me. And so the seeds for ‘Gather & Feast’ were sown.

2020 has thrown a curve ball – just as momentum was building, everything changed. However, with change comes new opportunities. Creating grazing platters and developing a range of wholesome sweet treats, so you can still celebrate your special events and occasions, has been a wonderful experience.

My aim is to provide food that excites you, that is sociable and makes you think of an excuse to get together.
